Calvert works with public school districts throughout the United States to implement distance learning programs. Individual districts, regional consortia and statewide providers may use the Calvert program to offer a distance learning or virtual school program to their communities.

Case Study: Columbia Virtual Academy

Columbia Virtual Academy (CVA) is a state-wide virtual public school district authorized to enroll students in 297 districts. CVA selected Calvert Partners as their preferred provider of K–8 curriculum. CVA coordinates a consortium of school districts that access curriculum and services from CVA and contribute instructional support services to other consortium members. CVA enrolled 70 students in its first year and grew to more than 200 students in its second year.
