Brick and Mortar Schools

The Calvert curriculum was developed for the presitigous Calvert Day School over 100 years ago and continues to exists as an exceptional private school in Baltimore, MD.

Although the majority of schools throughout the world that employ Calvert's curriculum operate a virtual school program, there are many schools that have adopted Calvert's curriculum to use in traditional brick and mortar classrooms.

Case Study: EXCEL Academy

Founded by Pastor Johnson in 2006, EXCEL Academy has provided students with a learning environment that is meaningful, motivating and celebrates learning diversity. They  provide a literacy and culturally rich environment. Excel maintains small class sizes at all grade levels, employ highly qualified and motivated teachers, and institute student support systems comprised of staff and parents/guardians working cooperatively as well as create a safe and orderly environment.
